FPPAS of 8.2% on consumers’ bills for the accounting month of August 2026 — unchanged from July, though computed from different months. The formula in Para 2(1) of Schedule-II gives 8.5% including the carry-forward accumulated at the end of May 2026; Para 1(7)(ii) makes 5% plus 90% of the balance automatically recoverable, i.e. 5% + 3.2% = 8.2%, with the remaining 0.3% held back for the Commission’s approval. Computed on June 2026 data, the n-2 month. The percentage applies to the components of tariff excluding meter rent, taxes, duties, levies and arrears.
