How to recharge a NDMC smart meter

How many units does a recharge buy on NDMC?

A rough estimate computed from NDMC's real domestic slab rates (₹3–₹8/unit). Remember — your prepaid balance doesn't only pay energy charges: fixed charges, FPPA and electricity duty are deducted daily too, so actual units will be somewhat lower.

What happens when the balance runs low or out?

You get low-balance alerts (SMS/app notification) from the meter. If the balance goes negative, supply can be disconnected automatically — though most DISCOMs do not disconnect at night, on Sundays or on holidays (rules vary by DISCOM).
